Brian L. Summers has been an attorney with the law firm of Logee, Hostetler, Stutzman & Lehman since 2009 engaging in the general practice of law with an emphasis on litigation and family law.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian served as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Judith A. Christley, 11th District Court of Appeals of Ohio (1997-2000) where he participated in drafting more than 150 legal opinions published in either the Ohio Official Reports or on electronic databases; and as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Lake County, Ohio where he argued in more than 40 cases before the intermediate courts of appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court.
Brian graduated summa cum laude with honors from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1992 and received his Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University College of Law in 1996 where he held the position of managing editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
Brian is a member of the American, Ohio and Wayne County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the Northern District of the Federal Court (Ohio), the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
