Ronald E. Holtman has been engaged in the general practice of law since 1967 and a member of the law firm of Logee, Hostetler, Stutzman & Lehman since 1996. Prior to joining the firm, Ron was a trust officer with First Merit Bank from 1991 to 1996. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, trust and probate administration, business and corporate law, and real estate. He also counsels numerous charitable organizations.
Ron received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University in 1964 and his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1967 where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Case Western Reserve Law Review. Following graduation, he served as a captain in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Corps from 1968 until 1971.
Ron is a member of the American, Ohio and Wayne County Bar Associations, and the Wayne - Holmes Estate Planning Council. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Commercial and Savings Bank and the Western Reserve Group.
Ron has been active in the community serving in many civic and charitable organizations including as a member and president of the Board of Trustees of the Wayne County Foundation, the East Ohio United Methodist Foundation, and the Killbuck Watershed Land Trust. In recognition of his lifetime of contributions to the community, Ron was named the recipient of the Wall of Fame award by the Wooster Chamber of Commerce in 2010.
